Bitumen Suppliers Ltd distributes over 50 grades of pure undiluted Bitumen products of the highest quality within the UK and Internationally. Having foreseen the increase in demand of bitumen applications in infrastructure projects throughout East and Central Africa, we supplied various Bitumen Grades to our clients’ for their road construction projects and heavy infrastructure development needs.

We have facilitated supplies of bitumen throughout East and Central Africa via Mombasa Port to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan and as far as Juba in The Republic of South Sudan. Within West Africa our Bitumen has reached Guinea via Conakry port to Simandou for one of the largest mining projects to date. Through Southern Africa we have supplied clients in Mozambique and Zimbabwe via Beira Port. Our Bitumen Specifications comply with the Ministry of Roads Standards and Guidelines for all the African Countries above and our high quality Penetration Bitumen Grade 80/100 and Penetration Bitumen Grade 60/70 is used in most cases due to the extreme climatic conditions. Medium Curing Cutback Bitumen MC 30 is also commonly used alongside the penetration Bitumen.

We have also supplied Bitumen products for road construction projects in the Middle East through subcontracted UK based and International infrastructure development companies.

Locally in the UK and through Europe we have supplied various road contractors and Bitumen plants with Penetration Grade 50/70. We also supplied Oxidised Bitumen 85/25 and 95/25 to roofing felt manufacturers and roofing contractors. Our Bitumen is equivalent to British Standards (BS) and European Standards (EN) and passed laboratory tests.
