Bistro at the SJT

Located on the first floor of the iconic Stephen Joseph Theatre, Bistro @ SJT has something to offer whether you are attending the theatre or just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by. Coffee and cake, sandwiches and snacks or a 3 course dinner with wine; the Bistro @ SJT has it all prepared and served by our young team.

Though food and drink are our main focus what goes on behind the scenes is a little different at Bistro @ SJT. We are proud to operate as a charitable venture brought to you by The BEACH, a Scarborough based social enterprise established by Yorkshire Coast Homes. A high percentage of our permanent staff are apprentices, developing skills not only in hospitality and catering but employability and confidence as well.
