Bill Campbell & Steven Rome for West End

Elected for the West End in 2012, Councillor Bill Campbell has handled hundreds of constituents' cases including housing, parking, schooling, refuse and social matters.

Bill is Depute Convener of City Development Department, Dundee SNP tourism spokesperson, Secretary of the Association of Nationalist Councillors and Depute Convener of the SNP Administration Group and West Branch. He also writes for the official SNP magazine, Independence.

Married 30 years to Yvonne with a son Luke (24) and daughter Devon (22), Bill says "I would be honoured to be re-elected as one of your West End Ward Councillors and would serve you with the same dedication and commitment that I have already clearly demonstrated as a Councillor and as a part of the SNP Administration."

Steven Rome is standing as a first time candidate for the West End Ward. He has lived, worked and studied in Dundee all of his life, except for an academic year spent studying in Grenoble, France. Steven graduated from the University of Dundee with a degree in Contemporary European Studies and currently works in the ward. He has been married to Kirsty, whom he met at university, for 6 years.

In his spare time Steven has been actively involved with the running of Grove Menzieshill hockey club as team captain, club fundraising coordinator, match secretary and youth coach.

Steven says "I would consider it a privilege to represent the West End as part of an ambitious administration, determined to do the best for Dundee."
