BEWTstudios is Cardiff's only creative art, film and photography space with facilities for hire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

We're based in a beautiful and iconic grade 2 listed building right in the heart of Cardiff Bay, and can offer facilities to all kinds of creative people and businesses.

Studio 1 offers a standard fully equipped studio set up with a choice of background colours, both constant & flash lighting. You may use the facilities in this room for just £20 per hour.

Studio 2 offers an alternative shooting experience including a bondage rack set, an alternative bath set and a gothic boudoir set. With it's rusty red girders, black ceilings & floor, this modern dungeon style room gets some people quite excited. You may use the facilities in this room for just £20 per hour.

The Grand Banking Hall is a diverse & beautiful venue which is ideal for a whole range of shoots, including group use & larger events. Once home to the largest bank in Wales, this great hall has beautiful floor to roof French Echaillon marble pillars, wood flooring, an arched glass skylight roof & original artworks which adorn the ceilings. There is a lot of natural light during the daytimes due to the tall windows & glass roof. At night it transforms again, either with the chandeliers on, or with them off, & some choice lighting. The Bank Vaults are a completely different story to the banking hall above. As you descend into the depths of this listed building you'll find original vault doors, safety deposit boxes & safes, iron bars, glazed bricks & dark corners. It's fitted with UV lighting too which can be switched off if required. Again, this may be added to your studio booking (subject to availability) at exclusive rates, but if you want to work here specifically then you will need to contact us to request a quote.

The benefit of this location is that it offers authentic features that cannot be replicated easily elsewhere. Our studios are each very different from the other but besides the spaces listed, we have other corridors, and visuals which often get used once people discover them upon arrival for their studio bookings. We're friendly and creative so you'll find we have a good selection of props, hats & some other costume wear too.
