The Old School is situated on Main Street in the idyllic village of Belton, near Grantham in South Lincolnshire. The building has seen many uses in the last 200 years, from the school house to village hall and even a private dwelling. Since its restoration by the National Trust in 2013 and use as a community space, the Old School has once again taken its place in the heart of Belton village life.
The Old School is a 5-minute walk from Belton House, a National Trust property which welcomes over 400,000 visitors per year. The layout of the building consists of a Main Hall and smaller Meeting Room. The Main Hall can comfortably seat 50 people theatre style while the meeting room is set for 12 people. Belton Old School Village Hall can accommodate up to a maximum of 60 people.
