More about Beechstock Music Festival

It is in Buckinghamshire, among the rolling hills and the area of outstanding natural beauty of the Chilterns, where our charity music festival first began. The event started out in 2010 as a humble one day music festival to raise money for charity and showcase the musical talent in and around the Buckinghamshire area. It took place in the extensive grounds of the Beech Tree pub in Hazlemere for the charity organisation the Pepper Foundation, who provide specialist nursing care for children with life-limiting conditions and support to their families, 24 hours a day, 365 day a year. The festival proved to be a success, with over a thousand people attending and raising a substantial amount for Pepper. It was a great family day out, filled with live music, dance acts, BBQs and traditional real ale. It was here Beechstock was born.

The festival has since grown to raise money for a number of charities and to pull in a crowd of over 3,000, with even more expected for 2012. Beechstock 2012 is being held at the Adams Park stadium, home to Wycombe Wanderers football club and rugby’s London Wasps. With a stadium capacity of 10,000, Beechstock is expected to be the biggest music festival in High Wycombe’s history, with some top name artists and comedians.
