Bedford Community Table Tennis Club

Bedford Community Table Tennis Club in Bedford was set up after the 'Get Back Into' January 2010 programme at Beauchamp Middle School. The club then moved to St Thomas More Upper School for the 2010/11 season, as the club wished to complete in the Bedford & District Table Tennis League. With finances struggling a bit, the club managed to persuade Church Lane Community Centre to buy some new competition tables and the club moved there in May 2011. With the move came a name change to Church Lane Community Club to help try and connect with the local residents. In 2012, things went so well, that the club expanded from running one session on a Thursday to having three sessions. This is still currently the case on Monday & Thursday evenings, 7.30 - 9.30pm and Wednesdays 11am - 1pm. The club is open every week apart from Bank Holidays, plus the Club is entered into the Bedford & District Table Tennis League.

As of June 2013, the club is going back to it's original name, as a new session at Bedford Academy begins. Church Lane CTTC will keep it's own identity, but it will be managed in partnership under the name of Bedford CTTC. These sessions will be on Wednesdays, 7.30 - 9.30pm and will be part of the same membership system.
