Bearsted Country Market

Bearsted Country Market is open in the WI hall, The Sreet, Bearsted on Saturdays throughout the year except for three Saturdays after Christmas. We sell home made cakes, pastries and savouries which are made by our members in their own kitchens at home. (All our cooks have hygiene certificates and our kitchens are registered) We also make all kinds of jams, marmalades and chutneys and even lemon curd! We have local honey and free range eggs to tempt you, and sell produce from our own gardens in their season. Our plant producers are extremely knowledgeable and are only too pleased to offer advice on the plant for you. We have several talented crafts people who make hand made cards, pottery, knitted and crocheted items as well as sewn 'kitchenwear' and jewellry, all perfect as treats for yourself or gifts for others. Come and see us, there is always tea and coffee available if you want to stay and chat!
