Bay Horse, Meanwood

Recently refurbished and decorated throughout in rich, earthy colours, our pub provides a haven for those who want to pop in for a great pint of traditional ale and a smattering of Irish craic. We will also soon be offering tasty home-cooked food from our new kitchen and brick-built barbeque!

The venue itself now has five different areas; the sports room where we have put up sports memorabilia that Paul has collected over the years; our comfortable, cosy chill out room; the dining area; and the community area where we have installed one of three brand new screens – We will be showing Sky sports for all you sports lovers! And we also offer free WiFi!

For the fine weather days, you can soak up the sun in our extensive garden area, where we have added new picnic tables and during the summer months you will also be able to order drinks from our outside bar!

For those of you planning a party, dinner or other function, we introduce our newly spruced up function room, which seats up to 50 people or alternatively around 100 for a standing reception.

We are very excited about the changes made to The Bay Horse, as our historic venue has been at the centre of Meanwood for centuries and a focal point for the local community. It is our aim to ensure that we revive that community spirit and facility for the benefit of all our customers!
