Bardristane Forge

Bardristane Forge is a traditional old cottage with views overlooking the seas and surrounding countryside. Situated 5 miles from Gatehouse of Fleet and within 5 minutes drive of a sandy beaches. At the edge of the UKs first Dark Sky park for star gazing and sunsets and central to 7 Stanes mountain biking centres. The cottage is within easy reach of Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Newton Stewart with golf courses, castles, gardens, coastal walks, bird and wildlife watching and horse riding. Laggan Outdoor, our local outdoor activity centre is within walking distance.

The Forge boasts a sitting room and conservatory both with wood burning stoves (all fuel included). Both rooms host uninterrupted views over the Bay, the Lake District and Isle of Man.
