Baby Reflex Workshops

Baby Reflex workshops- Baby reflex is an adapted form of Reflexology for babies, toddlers and infants from 4 weeks to 24 months.

This soothing form of finger-tip and thumb pressure has been specially developed for parents to give to their babies on their feet.

As toddlers become more active, it is more appropriate to use the toddlers hands to give hand reflexology. For toddlers this becomes a fun and interactive form of play; using nursery rhyming and actions, to work the reflexes on the hands.

Baby reflex was created by Jenny Lee, who was a chartered physiotherapist and reflexologist. She has done extensive research into the benefits of reflexology to babies and toddlers. She has been working with G.Ps , mothers and children over the last 15 years to develop these techniques.

This natural and non invasive approach to health and well being is a simple and effective way that can help babies and toddlers with;

-improved sleep
-calming/ soothing
- helping with wind, colic and other tummy issues
- relief from pain whilst teething
- improve body's defences/ immunity

These are just some of the benefits.

A major benefit, and the reason it was used initially with babies, was to strengthen the natural loving bond between parents and babies/ toddlers.
