Welcome to Asylum Books and Games. Established in 1999, Asylum offers the best in customer service and product knowledge to the comic buying and gaming communities in Aberdeen and the rest of the known world.

Our retail store located in Aberdeen caters for any enthusiast interested in comics, books or games.

We have over 100,000 comics, 10,000 graphic novels as well as many miniatures, games, original art, posters and statues.

We offer regular signings, hosting artists and writers alike. Past signings have included Mike Carey (Hellblazer, X-Men), D'Israeli (Scarlet Traces, Lazarus Churchyard), John McCrea (The Boys, Hitman), Declan Shalvey (Moon-Knight, 28 Days Later), and David Lloyd (V for Vendetta, Global Frequency), and are always happy to showcase up and coming talents.

We are not run nor owned by any corporate chain so are not forced to promote any specific range, we believe this enables us to stock a larger and wider range of goods.

We are also proud to offer services that other shops are unable to, such as our miniature painting service and regular gaming nights.
