Ashmore Glass & Mirrors were formed in May 1998 when two lifelong friends decided to put their vast knowledge of the industry to good use. Michael and Craig opened their first premises in Stubby lane, Wednesfield. “We were predominantly a supplier of double glazed units to fellow companies within the window, conservatory and door field”.

Having established ourselves in the local community we branched out into the replacement window, door and conservatory installation which seemed to be a natural progression and enabled us to fulfil an ambition to deal more closely with the public.

After six years at Stubby lane we moved into Essington where we now occupy three industrial units. Everything that needs doing in the process of the manufacture of replacement windows etc is carried out at the site. We have a double-glazed unit line turning out two hundred units per day and a UPVC line manufacturing quality internally glazed windows, doors and conservatories to the trade as well as the public.



Ashmore Glass now employs fifteen people mainly people who Michael and Craig have know during their time served within the industry and more importantly perhaps all local people who live within a five mile radius, which we feel is really important.

Now in our 10th year we have learned so much about what customers really want, we as a company always put our customers 1st , “We don’t believe in taking deposits or the hard sell, we will not ask any customer to sign a contract on our first call, we believe that the customer has the right to think about what we have said and make a decision in their own time. We don’t employ salesmen, Craig will come out and give you advice, quotation etc. , then Michael will carry out a survey on the job. To us this is vitally important as we then know what has been agreed and you have the peace of mind knowing that you are dealing directly with the company owners.
