Clare Pearson is the Salon Director at Ash Hair - Award Winning Salon in Oban.

Clare owned a City Centre salon in Leeds, Ash Hair & Beauty which was awarded English Hair Salon of the Year.

Since relocating to Oban in 2012 Clare was awarded the title Womens Stylist of the Year at The Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards and also finalised in 2013, 2014 & 2015 and was a Finalist in the Bridal Hair Catergory in 2016.

Most recently Clare was awarded Stylist of the Year for Scotland at The British Hair & Beauty Awards and is the only stylist in Scotland to win this award.

Clare was also one of only 15 hair stylists in the whole of the UK to be invited to join The Fellowship of British Hairdressings Colour Project 2012 Team which involved 10 unique training days in London with some of the top names in Hairdressing and very proudly is the only Hairstylist in Scotland to have achieved this.

Since living in Oban Clare has worked as a self-employed hairstylist and a Hairdressing Tutor at the local College and is also an Educator for Matrix Hair Care.

Clare also trained at the Number One Award Winning Sara Hill Academy of Make Up Scotland and provides hair and make-up for nights on the town, photoshoots and brides all over the country.

Having built up a loyal client base Clare decided it was time to open up another salon in order to bring her City Centre experience to the small town of Oban. Clares brand name 'Ash' was then used again to become Ash Hair - Award Winning Salon.

Clare has trained with some of the best names in Hairdressing and is renowned for her classic and contemporary creative skills and is sought after regularly for photoshoots and fashion shows. She is very dedicated to providing you with the very best in the industry and is committed to quality, comfort and client care.

Ash Hair consists of a small team of four and we are here to make you look and feel fantastic. Our Designers undergo in salon advanced training from our in house Matrix Educator to keep progressing and developing their skills to make sure you are getting the very best in hairdressing right here in Oban.

We offer creative Cutting & Colouring and the Kerasilk Hair Smoothing Treatment and we were awarded the title Best Team & Service at The Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards in 2015 and Best Marketing Campaign 2016 at The Look Awards which we are very pleased with as this recognises Clares 17 years in the industry and can now claim we are the best team and provide the best service in North West Scotland.
