ArtsArchitecture is an architectural design and consultancy practice founded in 2005 and specialising in public, arts and cultural buildings worldwide as well as educational, commercial and residential projects and one-off houses.

Unlike most traditional architects, we also provide consultancy services for feasibility studies, project development and brief-writing for all types of arts buildings, in particular museums, galleries and performing arts venues.

Its Director, David Wright, has over 30 years’ professional experience, gained almost exclusively in the arts sector. A chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, David has designed, built and refurbished many high-profile arts buildings in the UK and abroad, and was Design Director for the restorations of the London Coliseum, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, and the Qatar International Convention Centre. He is currently heading up the design of a new National Museum in the Sultanate of Oman. He also provides specialist historic building and interiors consultancy, brief-writing and project development services. David is supported by an Architectural team in the Maidstone office.

In addition to architectural design, we provide wider Consultancy services when required. David provides Theatre Planning and Interior Design consultancy. Senior Consultant Rowena Willard-Wright brings over 15 years’ experience working with museums, cultural organisations and historic buildings to the team.

Our long-time experience in the arts sector means we can call on other highly experienced individuals and specialist consultant firms to join our team and tailor it to specific client needs, thus offering a bespoke service at highly economic rates.
