Hi Thank you for popping by to Artemi Photography. My name is Sarah, I’m a professional photographer based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. I’m very lucky to live in such a cool place. The coastline down here, is one of the prettiest in the UK, with Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters lighthouse, to the South Downs and the uncrowded award winning beaches and Victorian pier and seafront. I have access to some amazing, dramatic backdrops, enabling me to create unforgettable images for my customers.
As a photographer, I love what I do. I get to be involved in some special and major events in people’s lives. I believe in making people feel special, giving them honest opinions about their ideas and desires for their finished photography.
I work hard to create images that my customers have pictured in their mind, without compromising my integrity or standards.
From my studio work, to on location, nothing I do is ever half hearted. I give 110% to every job. From business headshots to weddings, every job is treated with professionalism and of course a lot of fun along the way. Below are details of the services I offer.

Every Woman deserves to have a beautiful portrait of herself
My Artemi Boutique package is aimed at every woman, all ages, shapes and sizes. My belief is that everyone is beautiful, photogenic and sassy in their own way. All I do is help you realise that and show you how that can be captured on camera forever.
With professional Makeup Artist Felicity Burton and Hair from Signature Studios. You’re ready for your close up and we spend two hours gently guiding you into flattering poses. I don’t expect you to know what to do in front of the camera, that’s my job, so never worry about feeling awkward.
Within minutes you’ll start to feel more confident, sassy and super sexy, by the end I hardly have to guide, it will be all you.
This package is not necessarily a boudoir package, although it certainly can be. It’s more designed for you to have a fabulous morning, dressing up in some fun clothes, from big tulle skirts and themed dresses, to your own clothes, I encourage you to bring along about five favourite outfits.
Weddings
A wedding day is a big deal. It’s the day that two people celebrate their love for each other and because of this choosing a photographer is also a big deal.
No two weddings are the same. Each one has its own personality because every couple is different. I take time to get to know you, speak to you about your hopes and dreams for the big day and arrangements you already have in place. We normally end up chatting over lots of other unrelated things too.
I offer a pre-wedding shoot a couple of weeks before, which gives us the chance to work together and relax you in front of the camera before your wedding day.

On the day I take time to ensure everyone knows me and feels comfortable with me.
From the bridal preparations to the first dance, no detail is missed out. Guests are very much involved in making your wedding images come to life. I normally recruit the best man and bridesmaids to help round up guests for the formal shots.
For those more intimate moments between the bride and groom, we take a short time away from the crowd and create some beautiful images of the two of you, giving you both time to breath before you head back to enjoy the rest of your wedding.
Newborns
When it comes to your newborn images, nothing is more precious. I take time and care over each one. We don’t rush baby in any way. There are a number of props and clothing to choose from from butterflies and bows to bunny rabbits and rattles, or if you prefer, go completely natural. If there is a position baby doesn’t want to get into I never push it. Even, I’m afraid if mum and dad have requested it. Babies will only do what they want to do. However, you can be assured that all the images you see will bring tears to your eyes. I normally encourage parents to view them on a large screen if at all possible and have a box of tissues at the ready.

Families and children
Always a fun couple of hours, whether it’s in the studio or at a location. This is a time to laugh lots, have fun and enjoy life. No formal images here, (unless requested). Jumping, running, hugging and kissing is definitely on the agenda. (you guys, not me) These are the pictures you will want to hang on your wall and keep forever, these are the images that will remind you how fantastic life is when you’re with the people you love and cherish.

Social Media is breaking down barriers in the old fashioned way of taking a ‘business portrait’. It’s time to relax and have fun to create a unique image, which will reach out to your potential customers online.
Professional head shots don’t have to be boring anymore, people enjoy creativity and what might work for one business would not necessarily work for another. Depending on the type of business you’re in we can create images that suit you.

A little about me
I’m blessed to have a wonderful husband and a beautiful little boy who bring me delight every day.
I’m very family focused, my parents who have been together for over 51 years live 10 minutes down the road. My sister, husband and my two nephews live 10 minutes the other direction. Living on the Sunshine coast makes for a wonderful lifestyle. Long walks along the seafront and sea views from my office window. I love shopping with my two best friends and relaxing over a glass of wine and a gossip of course. (I’m female after all)
