Michael Baker is a Marine Biologist and aquaculture specialist with experience in public display aquaria as well. His expertise are based around the utilisation of different food substrates and energy partitioning in marine fish and shellfish, and the effect these have on the production of nitrogenous waste products. Applications of his knowledge are applied to intensive aquaculture and marine aquariums through advanced filtration systems and feed development, as well as feed protocols and waste removal through different and novel substances. Due to his time in public display aquaria and being an advanced open water diver, he is happy to consult on setup and maintenance of these systems also.
