We have completed numerous domestic and constructing and laying bases for sheds, garages and garden offices. We can build a base to most specifications. If you know the size and type of base you would like, then complete our form on the contact us page for an approximate cost of works.

Shed/Concrete Base

The standard concrete bases have the area levelled, form work created and concrete poured to 95mm. This is more than adequate for most sheds and summer houses.

Garden Office Concrete Base

The Garden Office concrete base we level the area, form work created, sub base stone laid and compacted and concrete poured to 95 mm. This higher spec offers greater longevity and stability to protect your investment.
Timber Base

Simple and environmentally friendly alternative to concrete bases. Our Timber frame Bases can be constructed almost anywhere, including gardens with a slope or even water logged gardens, and prevent the need to carry out expensive groundwork. To protect the base against rot all our timber bases are pressure treated. Larger buildings should have a stone or block base. To have a timber frame the stone should be of 40mm scalpings, blocks should be 100mm thick laid on the flat side. A purpose made concrete pad could also be considered.
Slab Base

We do offer a slab base service too. We are more than happy to lay a complete slab bed already for the structure to sit on. Another option is to have a concrete base and we can slab up to the base giving the same effect.
Our slab bases are laid on sub base stone that is compacted, DPM sheet and a mortar bed. Then brush in grout is applied to give the desired finished.
