ABC is one of only two national eating disorders organisations in the UK and has over 25 years of experience in supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Our purposes are: to safeguard the lives of people struggling with eating disorders; to prevent an eating disorder from developing and claiming someone’s life; to care for the emotional and physical needs of people with eating disorders and their families, friends and colleagues; to encourage recovery by equipping people with practical tools and strategies for living life; to train and resource individuals and organisations working with people affected by eating disorders
