Angelpoise lamps were originally designed by automotive engineer, George Carwardine who, in 1933, launched the first four-spring Anglepoise lamp. In 1935, Carwardine worked with Herbert Terry Springmakers of Redditch to develop a three-spring version known as the Anglepoise 1227. The design evolved into the more common 90 model with simplified round base which is what most people consider to be the archetypal Anglepoise lamp.
We source well used examples and return them to their former glory in colours of our own choosing or to customers' own requirements.
