At Amritsar, our philosophy is simple: to convey our passion for Indian cuisine in a way which gives you a perspective on our quest for perfect ingredients, technique, and a deep-seated desire to continue learning and evolving through old traditions and modern tastes.
Our menu takes the best of the centuries old tradition of North Indian cooking, the experience and flair of our chefs is such as to make it a veritable art form.
The ingredients we use are the finest available, fresh spices are prepared and ground in our kitchen just before they are used, thus retaining the maximum flavour. The best grades of Basmati and Patna Rice go into our Pilaus and Biryanis, the meat is always lean and tender – and we source the best fresh vegetables available.
Amritsar’s menu embodies a unique blend of ethnic and contemporary dishes. We recognise that the most important way that we can convey our love for what we do, is to have fun whilst doing it. We will always experiment with our combination of modern and traditional. There’s no magic recipe, but we know what works.
