Amiga IT UK is an all round IT service and support provider in the South East of England operating on the following values: Clarity, Honesty and Reliability
Founded in October 2016 with a solid 20 years experience in IT, James has worked in a variety of IT roles both employed and as a contractor UK wide
Amiga IT UK is family business and run by James and Olivia who are married with 3 children, James does the technical work and Olivia does the admin
Rates are extemely competitive due to low overheads and fully transparent with no hidden nasty extras, there is no point clouding the issue when one of our key values is Clarity
We operate 7 days a week from 9am - 9pm to ensure the best flexibility for our clients as we appreciate not everyone works 9-5 these days, we rest inbetween these hours and manage to uphold a good work/life balance

* Coverage:

As a guideline we usually operate a 50 mile radius of postcode DA13 0SJ which covers all of Kent, some of Essex, some of the South and South West and all areas within the M25
If the work is further afield we will either price accordingly to cover our costs

* Rates:

Rates will always be agreed by the client and ourselves by signing a job sheet before we do anything so no-one is left wondering what's happening when it comes to payment, no-one likes nasty suprises and we do not wish to chase payments in dispute

Site visit - Within 20 miles of DA13 0SJ - £ 40.00 (call out including first hour)
Site visit - 20-50 miles of DA13 0SJ) - £ 40.00 + 25 p per mile (call out including first hour)
Remote only assistance using Teamviewer - £ 5.00 per 15 mins (the cost will be a fixed rate for your peace of mind and agreed before commencing)
Offsite work from our office - £ Fixed (sometimes the nature of the work dictates that it needs to be done at our office)

* FAQ

Q. Are you rates negotiable?
A. Our rates are really good as they are, however we will consider your personal circumstances in certain situations and especially if you are an existing customer

Q. Are you VAT registered?
A. We are considering VAT registration in the future possibly under a separate company name so we can better serve our VAT registered business clients

Q. Why do you only have a mobile number?
A. It is relatively cheap to register a landline number at less than £3.00 per month but there is little point when the number would always divert to the mobile so we never miss your call

Q. Do you offer advice on what to buy and where from?
A. Yes we do, we do not want you to buy something that we would have difficulty setting up or maintaining, we all need some guidance sometimes

Q. How soon can you visit?
A. Usually same day, sometimes within an hour or so it simply depends on the workload at the time
