Alton Eastbrooke is a Council Ward (electoral defined area) within Alton Hampshire and is the focus of an East Hampshire District Council Initiative led by Cllr Dean Phillips to raise the areas affluence. The Eastbrooke Project has one main aim - To make Alton Eastbrooke the Best it Can Be, it focuses on a number of areas including but not exclusively employment, health, living environment and barriers to housing and services. Streets initially served include Adams Way, Aldersey Fields, Alexandra Road, Allen Close, Anstey Lane, Anstey Road, Barley Mews, Chalcrafts, Dairy Court, Dowden Grove, Eastbrooke Road, Edward Road, Eggars Close, Geales Crescent, Harold Gardens, Hillside Close, John Eggar's Square, Lansdowne Road, Linnets Way, Lipscombe Rise, Littlefield Road, Normandy Street, Nursery Road, Paper Mill Lane, Park Close Road, Pound Gate, Shipley Close, Spenser Close, Spitalfields Road, Station Road, Victoria Road, Victoria Road East and William Way.
