Akva

Akva is a Swedish owned & inspired cafe, cocktail bar, restaurant, live music venue and event space right in the heart of the city.

We have one of the largest outdoor seating areas in the city with fantastic views of the union canal.

We have two floors, two bars, disabled access on both floors, baby change facilities and allow dogs in the premises.

We are child and young persons friendly until 8pm on Friday & Saturday, and 10pm during the week.

We have live music, DJ's from 6pm Fridays, 9pm Saturdays and host an Open Mic Night which is open to all from 8pm every Wednesday and a Ping Pong Social every Sunday from 6pm!

We have venue space with can hold 300 people and can be hired privately any day of the week.

Our kitchen is open from 10-9 everyday and boasts a very diverse menu with it's main influences being Scandinavian including a brunch menu until 3, a sharing menu and a children's menu. We also run a lunch deli selection between 12 and 3 daily, showcasing a range of delicious hot and cold dishes made fresh every day.
