AJ Shop

Our shop is open all year round by appointment only; check our website www.ajkoi.co.uk for contact details. We stock a full range of koi and goldfish foods, large range of filters, UVs and bulb replacements, air pumps, water pumps, fish medications, water treatments, water testing services, many sizes of pipe and pipe fittings and a large range of planting accessories. We also offer gift vouchers for the fish or pond enthusiast.

Japanese Koi

AJ Koi are importers of quality Japanese Koi from the Niigata, Hiroshima, Kyushu and Okayama regions of Japan. All Koi for sale have been fully quarantined using the heat ramping process. We have quality Koi available for sale all year round.

Goldfish

AJ Koi have a ] range of goldfish for sale at various times throughout the year including Sarasa Comets, Shubunkins, Red Comets, Fantails and standard goldfish.


Pond Maintenance

At AJ Koi we offer you what we feel is a service unique to us, a service contract for your pond! (Terms and conditions will apply)

How it works
We come to you at the start of the season and carry out an inspection of your pond and equipment; we service all the equipment and get you all ready for the season.
We then pay you a visit mid season for another check up and then the final visit of the year at the end of the season to prepare your pond for winter.


Pond cleaning
We also offer a pond cleaning service where we come along put your fish in a vat then power wash your pond clean, we also clean out the filter and check the UV.

Pond Design and Construction

Our Services
At AJ Koi ltd we can build any size pond that you may require. From a small wildlife feature where wildlife will flourish in a near natural environment to a large scale Koi pond that blends into the garden as a feature or a purpose built Koi house.


Design & Build
We can design your pond or work to your design, you choose what’s right for you.
You can commission us to do the whole project with landscaping or we just do the bits you don’t fancy taking on.


Planning
It’s always better if we know at the planning stage what you would like us to do as this will avoid any expensive rebuilds and the project can run as you have planned and to budget!
We are friendly and approachable so please ask us at the planning stage so we can help and advise you to reach what you want in an economical way.


Materials & Equipment
We can supply everything you need to complete your project at very completive prices from all the major manufacturers.
And then when it’s done we can supply you with quality Japanese Koi or most other types of pond fish if you prefer.
