Aimee Jones - Sports Therapist

Hi my names Aimee, I am a qualified graduate Sports Therapist BSc (Hons). I am currently starting up my own business as a sports therapist. I am based at Luxe Salon in Buckley. I have previous experience of working in a clinic based environment through university and have worked for Manchester City Ladies Football Team as their first aider and sports therapist.

I am currently working at Buckley Leisure Centre as a lifeguard, swimming teacher and gym instructor. At this present moment in time I am working towards my Level 3 Personal Training qualification, which I feel will work well alongside my degree as it allows me to offer a service to customers after they have recovered from their injury and returned to sport.

Sports therapy involves the diagnosis, treatment, management and rehabilitation of a range of sports injuries through a variety of methods. These treatment methods involve sports massage, mobilisations, specific rehabilitation programmes along with home based exercises, taping, advice and in some cases referrals to other health professionals

I aim to treat each individual to the best of my ability, giving them the best treatment and advice I can, returning them back to their sport and the level they played at before along with advice on helping to prevent the injury from re-occurring.

Price List

First Session: Initial Assessment - £25* (relevant paperwork filled out, assessments and tests followed by a diagnosis) - 45mins-1hour.

Follow up assessment/treatment on the same injury - £15* - 30mins.

Sports Massage:

Full Body - Neck, Shoulder, Back, Legs - £30* - 45mins-1hour.

Neck, Shoulders, Back - £20* - 45mins.

Both Legs (Front and Back) - £15* - 30mins
