Active Kids Day Nurseries

The Rocking Horse Nursery is located in Duddingston, Edinburgh. The centre opened in 1990 and joined partnership with Edinburgh City Council in 1992.
The centre is a low-rise building which has the benefit of an enclosed garden, play area and a large spacious kitchen area which is used to provide homemade cooked lunches for the children.

Active Kids at the Rocking Horse is a small and welcoming nursery which is divided into four playrooms to accommodate children between 0-5 years and is registered to accommodate 29 children. Our centre operates a 1:3 staff ratio for children aged 0-2 years, 1:5 for children aged 2-3 years and 1:8 for children aged 3-5 years.
