Activate Coast & Countryside

‘Activate Coast & Countryside’ is a project funded through Sport England’s Community Sport Activate Fund and key partners including the Christchurch & East Dorset Councils, Dorset County Council, Forestry Commission and Kingston Lacy National Trust. The 3 year project aims to encourage local people to get more active through a range of outdoor activities across Christchurch and East Dorset using Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, Kingston Lacy National Trust and Highcliffe Castle as the 3 main countryside hubs for the project as well as community locations. Activities include cycling, walking, orienteering, rounders, petanque, golf, canoeing, surfing, fishing, and running; opportunities will be aimed at adult and family beginners and will include clear options to progress.
