Acoustic Sessions

The first Acoustic Sessions event will be held in the Green Room of the Oasthouse Theatre on Saturday 28th June. If the event is well supported I plan to run these sessions regularly showcasing some of the best acoustic talent in Medway.

The evenings will consist of 5 artists playing 15-20 minute sets each. The events will be open to all genres and styles, originals and covers and the plan is to book a variety of acts to play at each event with the only caveat being that there will no mics or amps. This means that the audience will have to shut the hell up to hear the music creating (hopefully) an intimate musical experience for all. Also less talking means more time for drinking from the fully licensed bar at the theatre.

So a note on the venue... These events will be held at the Oasthouse THEATRE, Rainham not the Oasthouse, Rainham. Rainham is probably one of the few places to have a multiple number of performance venues in old converted Oasthouses so please make sure you turn up at the right one. There's a map on this page somewhere.

Train: The theatre is about a 7 minute walk from Rainham Station
Car: Parking is available in the Hidsons car park next door. Please note that this parking can only be used in the evening when attending the event.
