Aberdeen Wild Wings Sporting Adventures specialises in organising inland wildfowling holidays in the Aberdeenshire area. Operating South West of Aberdeen allows guests to hunt in some of Scotland’s most scenic areas which hold large numbers of waterfowl during the UK shooting season.

Species most commonly hunted are Pinkfoot and Greylag geese along with duck which predominately consist of Mallard and Teal with the occasional Wigeon.

Goose shooting takes place during morning and evening flights, morning flights offer guests the magnificent spectacle of shooting geese being called into decoys. For 2013/2014 we will be looking to offer our guests the chance to hunt out of layout blinds where the guns are placed out amongst the decoy spread and they can enjoy a great experience of geese landing paddles down on top of them.

It is also possible to shoot geese on their flight paths when they leave and return to their roosts. Depending on the time of the season roosts can also be shot on occasion but we normally prefer to shoot splashes and ponds that both duck and geese use.

Duck shooting tends to take place over fed natural splashes and ponds were we also use decoys to increase pulling power to the area being shot. This normally takes place during night flights but depending on the time of the season we can also offer morning duck flights. On occasion it can sometimes be possible to offer duck shooting during the day.

Although we specialise in inland wildfowling we are also able to organise both walked up and driven game shooting upon request.
