Abbey Place Net Loft, Mousehole

Abbet Place Net Loft is set over two floors with a bright and airy lofted living area upstairs and double bedroom and bathroom downstairs.

The building's original purpose was for fishermen in the 1800s to hang and mend their nets. The building was later converted into artists' studios that were popular with scholars of the nearby Newlyn School of painting. The building was converted into its current form as a Mousehole holiday cottage in the 1990s and is perfect holiday accommodation whether you are planning to stay for just a few days, or a little longer.

Mousehole is conveniently positioned to explore the Penwith peninsula. The nearby village of Lamorna makes for a pleasant walk along the south west coastal path. Alternatively you can venture a little further in land and explore the patchwork fields and footpaths the cover this ancient Celtic landscape. Lands End, St Ives, Penzance and St Michaels Mount are all only a short drive away and make for great day trips.

There are a number of restaurants in Mousehole that offer fantastic local produce and are open all year round. Enjoy peaceful and relaxing strolls around the village as you discover the numerous cafes and coffee shops that fill the streets.

If you are staying in this Mousehole cottage over the Christmas period you will see the fabulous Mousehole Christmas lights that are put on with donations collected throughout the year.

Abbey Place Net Loft sleeps 2-4 people (double bedroom plus a sofabed for 2 extra guests), has a travel cot for a babe in arms and is located only metres away from the harbour front in Mousehole. The apartment consists of:

• Bright double bedroom with plently of cupboard space.
• Bathroom with hot shower.
• Large and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
• Kitchen area contains crockery and cutlery for 4 people, electric cooker with a variety of cooking utensils, a washing machine, refrigerator and a microwave.
• Dining / living area contains a dining table, chairs for 4 people and a comfortable double sofa(bed) and armchair.
• TV with DVD Player & Freeview also in living area with a plentyful supply of DVDs.
• Digital radio.
• Bookcase with maps and novels as well as a good collection of books on the local history and folklore of Mousehole and surrounding areas.
• Fresh linen, bath towels and kitchen towels supplied.
• Electricity included.

Parking
Like most properties in the centre of Mousehole, Abbey Place Net Loft does not have any parking of its own. There are however three car parks in Mousehole. The two either side of the harbour cost £3 each for 24 hours.

There is space near the entrance to Abbey Place by the village shop to pull up briefly for loading and unloading purposes.
