A&B taxis

A&B Taxis is now a private hire company based in Northumberland. The Company was formed by Abel and Betty Broome (which is where the name comes from) and was based in Widdrington Station.
Abel and Betty sold the company when they fell ill back in 2012 and it was then run by Frank McCoey as predominantly a mini bus company.
In 2017 Frank retired living the running of the company to his son.
Here in 2017 Jon McCoey is now the managing Director of the company. The Company is now entirely a Private Hire company and Jon has turned his attention to modernising the day to day running of the company. We now operate a cloud based dispatch system allowing us to know where our vehicles are at all times and which one is closest to being able to pick our customers up.
