We are a charitable, voluntary organisation providing an advocacy service for adults with a learning disability.
What do we do?
Sometimes people with a learning disability find it difficult to communicate their needs to others. We recruit and train people to become volunteer advocates to provide a voice for our clients.
What are our aims and objectives?
Our aim is to ensure that the voices of people who have a learning disability are heard and that their wishes and aspirations are acted upon.
Our objectives are:
- to provide a voice for adults with a learning disability
- to protect their rights and safeguard their interests
- to assist them to establish their place in society
- to empower them to make their own decisions
