A State of Health practitioners primarily work through the neuro-musculo-skeletal system, mostly on muscles and joints, using holistic approaches. Treatment when appropriate is specific to each individual patient using a wide range of gentle, non-invasive manual techniques such as deep tissue massage, acupuncture, joint articulation and manipulation.

James Rowland and Zoe McParlin, both hold a Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy. They also have qualified in Medical Acupuncture from the British Medial Acupuncture Society and Sports Massage.

Both are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and a member of the British Osteopathic Association.
