A Room Full of Butterflies

A room full of butterflies is a colourful, contemporary gift shop and gallery located in Sherwood Nottingham and via e-commerce. You can also access a wide variety of creative photography services in the lovely photography studio above the shop. The company is founded by Andy Welch who has many years experience in the gift and fashion trades both a sales manager to retail outlets worldwide with a huge range of products from bags, shoes and leather goods. He has also managed creative retail outlets over many years. He worked as a fashion photographer and co-managed a very successful knitwear business called ‘Soft Options’ from 1981 to 1990. He ran a retail business in Nottingham city called ‘Spirit’ from 1994 until 2001 with his wife to be Jo Wood. ‘Spirit’ sold exclusive and collectable hand painted glass pieces by Jo. Jo created the company logo and shop design, painting the clouds above the beach huts and working with Andy on display of stock. Andy and his team transformed the rented shop from a very poor state into it's current form in just 12 days!
