4th Littlehampton Scout Hall

A large scout hall with excellent facilities being an ideal base for various activities, not just for scouting. The hall is frequently booked for various functions including: weddings, children’s parties, bingo, fund raising etc.

The main hall measures approximately 16m x 12m and incorporates a climbing wall at one end. It has a maximum capacity of 200. There are tables & chairs available for use. Floor markings allow for use for badminton and other activities. The hall is high enough (approx. 6m) to allow the use of an indoor bouncy castle (not supplied).

Connected to the hall is a fully functioning kitchen with cooking, chilling/freezing and washing facilities, including a plumbed in dish washer.

There are 3 smaller meeting rooms, which can be available with prior agreement, which can be used as separate sleeping areas for camps/sleepovers.

Within the hall there are ladies, men’s and disabled (with wheelchair access) toilets, plus a single person use shower room. Also available is also a Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, there is ample parking in a shared car park (St John’s). At the rear of the hall is a camping/play field, triangular in shape, measuring approximately 50m x 50m x 30m. Within the area is a fire circle (with wood pile), bbq, access from main building, tap, shed (for porta-loo?), 4 fire pits.

Activities which can be booked with prior agreement include: air rifle shooting, climbing, and use of pioneering equipment.
Other equipment (such as tables, chairs, camping equipment etc.) may also be available.

Alongside the fully securable hall area (spiked fence) is a large recreation ground with public access, which is available for use which also has children play areas.
