More about ZIMA - Russian Street Food & Bar

Russia's most celebrated chef Alexei Zimin brings together street and gourmet food, which combine in an array of tapas-style creations featuring classic ingredients like sturgeon, herring, scallops, crab, venison and caviar, so you can now enjoy his fabulous creations and homemade vodka infusions over three floors in this grade II listed Soho townhouse!

Bringing together food from all across Russia, such as Kamchatka staple Crab claw with bread crisps & red caviar; Black caviar with traditional sides from Yaroslavl, and Ufa favourite, Honey & sour cream cake "Medovik", you can enjoy these dishes with Russia’s finest beer, Zhigulevskoye, and delicious vodka infusions you've never seen before like fennel & tarragon; basil & strawberry and lingonberry & apple with curry leaves.

The basement is lively and has a Soviet era ryumochnaya (vodka bar) feel, adorned with slogan- and symbol-embossed propaganda porcelain, while the ground and first floors are slightly more formal, offering an extended menu for a fully immersive dining experience. Birch trees and daisies give the restaurant an authentic Russian touch, whilst winter birds adorn the walls along with a beautiful cartoon mural of Alexei Zimin on the ground floor.

In addition, a delightful and spacious terrace is the perfect spot for a little al fresco dining over the summer. This area, along with the rest of ZIMA, is available to hire for private events.

With a late licence until 1am, ZIMA offers visitors and Sohoites alike a myriad of options, whether it’s a business lunch, a meal with friends or a night cap.
