Whitby Sports & Social Club

The Whitby Sports and Social Club has numerous individual sports sections
Whitby Sports and Social Club is located at Dunkirk Lane in Whitby, Ellesmere Port. The club is fortunate to have a large members bar, a spacious Ballroom with bar, a well furnished function suite with it’s own bar called The Oak Room, and a smaller function suite with bar access called The President’s Lounge. The club also has two squash courts, a snooker room, two large screens for watching live sport, and a television room. Outside, the club also has a spacious playing field for football, rugby and cricket.

The sporting sections of the Whitby Sports and Social Club have a high profile in the Ellesmere Port area and welcome new members and visitors to The Club.
The club is fortunate to have a large playing field and indoor facilities. The facilities currently available are listed below:

1 Under 12's Rugby Pitch
2 Cheshire League Football Pitches
1 Senior Football Pitch
3 Mini Football Pitches
1 Rugby Pitch under 9's
1 Rugby Pitch under 8's
1 Cricket square

1 All weather pitch
4 5-a-side Courts
1 Pavilion (currently half unused due to health and safety)

1 Bowling Green
Changing rooms (male and female)
2 Squash courts

It is the Sports Club’s objective to provide first class sports facilities for Ellesmere Port and it’s surrounding area. We believe this is vital in order to sustain the current level of sport and physical activities and enable the future growth / development of all current and potential future sports / physical activity sections. The Club is committed to provide for all the community.

The Club also has many other social activities including: Bingo, Line Dancing, Ballroom Dancing, Bowls, Judo, Poker, and shooting.
