Weston Park Railway was established over thirty years ago from the former Hylton Valley Railway. Since that time it has developed into one of Britain's premier miniature railways.
With a journey time in excess of 12 minutes and a length of almost 1 1/4 miles it is also one of the longest 7 1/4" gauge railways in Britain.
From Weston Central station, adjacent to the children's adventure playground, the track crosses the lake by means of a bridge and passes through beautiful woodland, some of which was designed by the 19th Century garden designer Lancelot "Capability" Brown.
Trains are normally hauled by diesel traction with visiting steam engines on special occasions
Please note that, although the location map says we're in Australia, we're definitely based in the UK!
