Waterside Caravan at Rookley

Welcome to our holiday home on the wonderful Rookley County Park on the Isle of Wight. Its the perfect destination for a fabulous holiday with something for everyone. The Isle of Wight enjoys more sunshine hours than any UK resort and is only a 30 minute ferry crossing from the mainland. Measuring just 26 miles from east to west and surrounded by glorious coastline, the island is the perfect destination, whether you’re looking for a fun filled family adventure or just time to get away from it all and relax.
Rookley is situated right in the centre of the island, making it a great location to explore the whole of the island. The park is situated in 23 acres of parkland, set around two fantastic well stocked fishing lakes. There is an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s play area, crazy golf pitch along with an amusement arcade and pool tables and cycle hire. Fishing on the lakes can be booked directly through the onsite well stocked fishery shop as well as hiring the necessary equipment. All facilities are included in the caravan price (cycle hire and fishing not included).
Visit the on-site restaurant the Quarterdeck for a great selection of delicious meals, serving breakfast, lunch and evening meal or just a light snack or coffee. Spinnakers lounge provides a variety of evening entertainment, including children’s discos, karaoke and live performers. Details of what’s on can be found in the reception area.
The caravan itself is an ABI Ashbourne 37 x 12ft and has 3 bedrooms, one double and two twins all with heating and built in wardrobes and benefits from an idyllic lakeside position.
There is a good sized bathroom complete with large shower, basin and toilet.
In the lounge are two big freestanding sofas, one with a metal pull out bed. There is a freestanding dining table and chairs which pulls out for more guests. All for this is furnished with a homely feel along with brand new carpet throughout. There is even a small fireplace with gas fire and double doors leading out from the lounge which are perfect if you require easy access.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster and everything you need for your self-catering break.
Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday
Short breaks run Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday
A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance due 6 weeks before holiday start date.
