More about University of Worcester Money Advice

The Money Advice Service is here to provide students and potential students at the University of Worcester with welfare and financial advice and support. We offer advice on a range of topics, including student loans and grants, bursaries, trust funds and charities, welfare benefits, debt management, Tax Credits and general financial queries.

We do not give legal advice but we can help you to identify major elements of your welfare or financial difficulties and provide information, advice and help to resolve them.

We will:

Diagnose your problem
Explain the options available to you
Help you identify further action to take
Help you fill in forms and draft letters if necessary
Contact other organisations for further information if relevant
Liaise with others on your behalf, e.g. Student Finance England, banks and landlords.
We also administer the Access to Learning Fund, which is distributed to students experiencing severe financial hardship. The fund is non-repayable and may be applied for at any time during the academic year and even during the long holiday months for some students.

The Money Advisers can be contacted via firstpoint, The Peirson Study and Guidance Centre, University of Worcester, St Johns Campus, Worcester.
