My name is Tim Rigby and I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist having studied with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and the University of West London.
I work at the High Street Therapy Centre in Glastonbury with therapists that compliment my own training. I specialise in stress, anxiety reduction and ego boosting especially and have an eclectic client centre approach to my therapy and draw on personal experience in this area.
I came to hypnotherapy out of events in my own life and having to rebuild my life following what to me was a major mental breakdown. I found that hypnotherapy allowed me to take back total control of my life and is delivered in a way that allows the subconscious mind the time and space it needs.
I became fascinated in the subject and wanted to find out more. I quickly realised that there are many organisations and individuals who claim to be hypnotherapists but whose initial and ongoing training is minimal. Having not attended university earlier in life I chose to study with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and the University of West London, as the course is of a recognised degree standard, and a lot of hard work later I have gained another milestone and proved it's never too late to learn.
Hypnotherapy has certainly helped me and in a relatively short period of time could help you too. Having suffered from mental fatigue in the past I have centred my therapeutic practice on this area and help people to overcome and manage the stress and anxiety in their everyday lives. Having run my own businesses I know how hard it is sometimes just to keep all those plates spinning so I welcome clients from all walks of life especially entrepreneurs and the business community. In a business all of the staffs’ health is important but it’s often too easy to overlook the warning signs until it is too late, especially when you’re the boss. I know from personal experience!
So if its stress reduction, anxiety, motivation, public speaking nerves or just good old fashioned ‘life’s a bit too much’ then give me a call to see how clinical hypnotherapy can help you.
