Many people race through life accomplishing marvelous and extraordinary things. They seem to get more done in a month than others get done in a year. They are the go getters; the movers and shakers.

For the rest of us, going slower seems to be a happier existence at times. Ralph Waldo Emerson famously said, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." I don't think this is just a cheesy meme, I believe that through taking things at nature's pace we can feel a little more fulfilled.

After many years of working as a teacher I decided to leave the profession and focus on the basics in life. Eating properly, sleeping enough, living in an Eco friendly way and ensuring I am outside as much as possible. In short, I left the rat race and moved to the middle of nowhere with my husband, dog and ever growing bump.

I spend my time making resin jewelry with a focus on embedding real flowers, moss, stones, wood, bark and anything I recycle in my designs. I am inspired to create unique, organic pieces which focus on the botanical world rather than the artificial. I only make one of a kind pieces so each customer is guaranteed to have a distinctive and individual purchase.

My range of products and ideas are always expanding and changing due to the lovely feedback I receive from my customers. Every order I send out is important to me and is packaged with care, love and attention to detail. All of these wares are sent to you in using Eco friendly materials because, whilst it is impossible to avoid packaging in modern society, it is possible to reduce waste and energy usage (another of my passions!).

I look out from the garden room across the unbroken Herefordshire countryside and realise: I might be poor but I'm eternally happy!
