HUDDERSFIELD COMMUNITY TRUST

Huddersfield Community Trust is a registered charity (1117768) and, as such, is a non-profit making organisation. Using the influence of professional sport, it is responsible for all community sports and educational activities on behalf of Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Football Club. We are based within the indoor venue The Zone, which is where all the community work and activities are coordinated from.

Huddersfield Community Trust has the ability to engage people, improve community cohesion, improve fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield. The charity uses the power of sport to inspire people of all ages engaging with 60,000 people every year through four key areas;

THE ZONE

Huddersfield Community Trust are based at the indoor venue The Zone. The Zone provides a variety of opportunities for fitness and fun with facilities including; Play Zone, Cafe Zone, Education Zone, Sports Zone with 3G pitches, Dance Zone and Gym Zone:

Kid’s Zone - Keep your children entertained for hours with the largest play structure in Yorkshire.

Sports Zone - 2 top of the range synthetic pitches for hire.

Dance Zone - Offers a range of classes for both children and adults.

Gym Zone - A dedicated children's gym for ages 7yrs-16yrs, with equipment designed specifically for them.

Learning Zone - Working with young people aged between 16yrs and 19yrs to develop coaching skills and experience in the leisure industry.
