The White Hart

The White Hart has been a family run pub for over 10 years, supported by a good local team. Whilst we have a great following of local people we are always pleased to welcome visitors from far and wide.

We offer great real ales as well as the usual array of drinks, along with good food that is available both lunch times and in the evenings, there are more details on our food and drinks page along with our menu.

We also have letting rooms which you can view on our accommodation page, some have easier access for the less able, one room with wheel chair access.

The White Hart was originally a private residence, in fact at one time it was the home of the local doctor and birth place of the renowned Charles Benjamin Incledon (more details about him below).

Most evenings we play quiet background music, occasionally we do have the bit of a do on, as well as our regular popular quiz and bingo nights (there are more details on our what’s on page).

The White Hart is a vibrant village pub that welcomes a variety of visitors, this can include vintage and classic car clubs, steam engine and vintage tractor enthusiasts as well as bike clubs (powered and pedalled). Those occasions when these visits are preplanned we will post it on this website.
