The Tweseldown Pub

We have 3 seperate areas in the pub:

The 'Public' Bar - A pool table, Jukebox, and Fruit machine make this a great place to socialise with friends!

The 'Lounge' – Whether you are eating or drinking, this is a great place to relax infront of the roaring fire alone or with a group of friends.

The 'Barn' - With our large tables, tiered seating areas and another log fire, this is the ideal place for a meal with family and friends!

There is a large outdoor area with bench seating, and also provides a warm and welcoming 'Smoking Shed', fully equipped with it's own lighting and heating systems.

All of this, combined with a function room that will comfortably hold upto 100 people, makes The Tweseldown a genuinely exciting place to visit, eat, drink and socialise.


On a Sunday we have a fabulous lunch of Roast Beef and Roast Lamb with crispy Roast Potatoes and Parsnips, a selection of Vegetables and a large Yorkshire Puddings risen in our own oven with delicious gravy made from the meat juices.

We also have a fine selection of Real Ales, including Doombar, London Pride & locally brewed Altons Pride, in addition we have a rotating Guest Ale which is constantly changing and is always something new.

Here at The Tweseldown we have a large function room available for all types of bookings!

From Birthdays to Engagement Parties, Wakes to Christmas Parties, we have the room for you! Comfortably seating upto 60 people we can provide everything you need to make that special day even more enjoyable.

Want to hire a DJ? Why not! We are more than happy to clear a space on the dance floor, and with your DJ, you can party all night long!

Regardless of the occasion, we have a very unique Buffet Menu available for any and all functions and we are more than happy to accomodate any meal requirements you may have.
