The Pomfret Arms

A friendly atmospheric pub catering for a truly eclectic range of tastes. Serving great beer, including its own 'Cotton End Brewery' product, The Pomfret has great live music of all genres every Friday night and afternoon jam sessions every other Sunday; other music events occur on a selective basis. The fabulous back garden has to be seen to be believed and is a destination during the summer months. The rear of the pub also has a period stone barn that is available for private events with a capacity of between 40 and 80, depending on type of function. The Pomfret is genuinely loved by those who discover its comfortable 'hand made' charm and appreciate it as a refreshing change to the stark commerciality and uniformity of many managed/chain establishments; simply, it's a great place to be.
