The Performance Academy drama & theatre schools

Welcome to The Performance Academy drama and theatre school – Glasgow & Bathgates prestigious drama and Performing Arts school.

We provide weekly classes in all areas of Performing Arts in various areas of Glasgow and also in Bathgate, Scotland. Our classes build our students’ confidence and self-esteem, stretch their imagination, and develop their teamwork skills in a safe, secure and energetic environment. We tutor students on Performing Arts while ensuring they have as much fun as possible. We encourage students to make new friends and aim to foster an interest in drama, dance or singing.

All of our classes are taught by experienced Performing Arts tutors; all of which hold University degrees in their chosen teaching subject- many of which are also professional performers in their own right. All members of the TPA team all hold PVG checks prior to teaching for us and we always have at least one first aider present at all of our class venues.

The Performance Academy is run by our principal Lisa Cleugh who has a MA/ BA (Hons) in Acting Performing Arts and is also our fitness instructor. Our classes began in 2008 with just 9 students. Since then the Academy has gone from strength to strength and we now have over 200 students attending one or more of our classes each week. Not only do we run classes in Performing Arts, we run school Holiday Classes, Workshops for businesses, schools and community groups workshops, direct shows and we now run Themed Birthday Parties.

The Performance Academy offers many classes and we start new classes often. We are bursting with information and are keen to spread the TPA energy that we have.
