The Out Barn Conference & Corporate

The Eco Friendly Out Barn is a hidden gem. Unique and exclusive it has been purposely built with conferencing and event management in mind. It is fully sustainable with its own water borehole, biomass heating system and solar panel electricity. It won an award for its building design in 2015.

You can host a wide range of events at The Out Barn including - conferencing, video conferencing, product or press launches, award ceremonies days and evenings, corporate away days, team working days and strategy days.

To complement your day we can also offer a range of practical team based outdoor and indoor activities that focus on such skills as communication, relationship building, problem solving, team working and collaboration.

Using the extensive grounds of The Out barn you can successfully combine your conference / meeting with a number of practical corporate activities to either bring an element of fun, motivation or learning to your day.

Activities include orienteering on the farmland, treasure hunts, blindfold buggy driving, land rover team activity, purpose built short team based activities or even the opportunity to learn bush craft skills as a team in our woods.

Our beautiful oval conference room is light and airy with stunning views over the farmland and the iconic Pendle Hill.

The barn is nestled in its own environment and really helps your people to get a break from work, think more and feel refreshed. Large bi fold doors give the barn an outside in feel and is suitable for events all year round.

The conference room is large, with no corners .... and has a flagged floor with underfloor heating so the temperature is ambient all year round. The walls are a neutral colour and the whole barn has a rustic appeal.

The conference room can seat up to 100 either with a horseshoe of chairs or with round conference tables. The room is fully equipped with a multi media system for sound and presentations, there is a monitor and wifii access for video conferencing. You can even choose a colour for your function from the mood lighting option.

A separate dining room in the original barn with wood burning stove allows for refreshments throughout the day, a hot or cold lunch dependent upon your requirements and bacon butties or a continental option on arrival. The dining room can seat 50 at the pine tables or up to 100 if the lunch is served buffet style.

When the dining room is not in use then this room makes a good break out room along with the separate bar area.

There's plenty of outside space for your groups to spread out into and this space is not overlooked by others. The open plan nature of the barn makes it easy to work with and helps your activities flow.

Out of site from The Out Barn, behind the hedge, there's a large free parking area capable of parking up to 80 cars, it is also suitable for coaches (up to 39 seats) and any production vehicles that may be involved in the event.

The Out barn is 10 minutes from the main A59 road that runs from Preston to Skipton, through Clitheroe. We are 40 minutes from the main M6, M66, M60, M62 motorway network. Our location is rural and so the last mile getting to us is down a small single track road, with passing spaces, but once at the barn you can see every reason for why you have made the journey, our clients are not disappointed.
