Built in 1635, The Old Tea House in Dorchester Dorset is the oldest freestanding house in the county town! A tea house since 1902 with tradional "old english" decor.
Offering a wide ranging menu with delicious daily specials, soups, scones, tea cakes and much more - not forgetting our famous traditional 3 course Sunday roast dinners!
Everything on the menu is homemade and fresh by Derek and Jonathan - using locally sourced ingredients on the day to ensure your visit is of the highest quality.
Front of house, you will be greated by Deborah, Derek or Jonathan whom will be more than willing to cater for any special requirements and lead you through the history of the building during your visit.
We also have a beautiful bed and breakfast available all year round with a very homly atmosphere, large tv, sofas, 4 poster bed and stunning decor with private bathroom.
